Conan

Conan (ca 1981-83) — Conan Dunham (lead vocals, songwriter), Abe Taylor (electric guitar and backing vocals), Ken Emerick (bass guitar and backing vocals), Chris Wolcott (drums), and myself (electric guitar and backing vocals) — was based in San Francisco.  Conan gained early fame/notoriety for his tune "Tell Ol' Anita" dedicated to/aimed at Anita Bryant's anti-Gay stance in the 1970s.  We did only a few live gigs, but a lot of recording in my studio much of which ended up on Conan's third album, quite appropriately named "Conan III."
