War on Xmas (2020-) — Ken DeRoche (conceiver, producer, engineer, scorer, GarageBand guru, tireless cat-herder, and multi-instrumentalist), Neil Granger (bass guitar), and myself (guitar, ukulele, and any other instruments I might have lying around that could be useful) — is a long-distance collaboration up and down the West Coast (Seattle, Oakland, and Los Angeles) empowered by GarageBand dedicated to taking obscene liberties with the Christmas tune catalog and rendering them in a Ventures-style (i.e. largely vocal-less for reasons that might not be hard to guess!) mix of MIDI-fied and live instrumentation.
